The 1 Gallon version of this is far too narrow for my purpose it works though. Just remember, if you can toss it in a fire to remove the galvanizing from it (the Zinc and chem. from the coating are not ideal to be breathing). If you have to use it in a pinch though better to be warm and have the hot food you can make by hooking it to the handle. The handle won’t be melted by the method either. Oh be carful it is sharp in spots. Overall its study and well worth the 3$ The 2 Gallon one works best on the Standard Heater buddy though and the 5 Gallon on the larger Big Buddy unit.
