The perfect volcanic cone of Mount Fuji always has snow at the top. The beautiful Japanese mountains can always provide relief from the stifling heat of summer. Carrying a folding fan is a convenient way to stay cool in hot weather, crowded situations and anywhere else you may feel the heat. This lovely traditional Japanese fan is made from paper and bamboo and features one of Hokusai's Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji yukiyo-e prints. On the reverse side is a subtle geometric design in pale sage green. The Japanese design will make a striking addition to any outfit. The fan comes in a pretty box which also shows Hokusai's wood block print and makes it perfect for gifting. When fully open, the fan measures 40cm (15¾") across when fully open by about 22.5cm (just over 8¾") from top to bottom. The box measures 23.5cm (9¼") long by 3.5cm (about 1½") wide and 1.5cm (about ½") deep. Made in Japan
