 Sk Monoar Nahid: The Creative Visionary Behind South Asia’s Broadcast Graphics Evolution

ree

Sk Monoar Nahid is not just a name; he’s a revolution in motion. With over 17 years of trailblazing innovation in motion graphics, real-time broadcasting, and visual storytelling, Nahid has established himself as a creative force behind South Asia’s broadcast graphics evolution. From the vibrant studios of Bangladesh to global design stages, his journey reflects a unique blend of artistic mastery, technological brilliance, and sustainable thinking.

Nahid began his career in 2007 as a junior graphics designer at RTV, a national television station in Bangladesh. Driven by ambition and armed with raw talent, he quickly progressed to roles at Jamuna TV and Independent Television. His breakthrough came at Channel 24, where he served not only as a senior motion graphics designer but also as the channel’s Europe correspondent. His ability to merge field journalism with creative design made him stand out in a sea of technicians. Eventually, Nahid founded RudraFx, a broadcast graphics and digital media firm that now operates globally across Bangladesh, Portugal, the UAE, and the United States.

The media industry recognized Nahid’s brilliance early on. In 2016, he earned the prestigious "Pro Viz Artist Designer" certification from Vizrt in Norway. That same year, Adobe and Vizrt honored him at the International Broadcasting Convention in Amsterdam—a rare feat for any South Asian designer. In 2025, Nahid’s name echoed across award stages once again. He was honored with the Asian Business Iconic Award in Nepal for Creative Leadership in Broadcast & Visual Graphics and received the Golden Brick Award in Dubai in the Television Campaign category. These international honors were preceded by national accolades such as the Star Bangladesh Award, Sher-e-Bangla Star Award, South Asia Cine Golden Star Award, and Excellence in Success Award, recognizing his pioneering role in motion graphics, AI integration, and environmental storytelling.

But Nahid’s story doesn’t end with graphics. He is a dedicated educator and a passionate advocate for environmental awareness. As a faculty member at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, he has trained hundreds of students in motion design, AR, and visual effects. In 2019, he became the first Bangladeshi to lead a Vizrt training course at DBC News, replacing the need for foreign trainers and uplifting local talent. His role as a jury member in competitions such as the “For A Better, Greener Earth” Motion Graphics Contest shows his dedication to both mentorship and sustainability.

As an author, Nahid has made significant contributions to both creative and environmental literature. His first book, Creatives in the Television Broadcast Industry, serves as a blueprint for aspiring designers and broadcasters. His second, Guardians of Earth: Simple Steps to a Sustainable Future, is a practical guide that blends environmental science with real-life solutions, making sustainability accessible to everyone. These books have been well received by both media students and the general public.

What sets Nahid apart is not only his global reach—thanks to his Portugal temporary residence card and USA 5-year multiple-entry visa—but his deep connection to grassroots impact. In July 2025, he organized a large-scale public environmental event titled “I Am the Guardian of Earth” in Khulna, engaging hundreds in street seminars and creative contests. This reflects his rare ability to bridge high-end broadcast technology with real-world change.

From software to street, studio to stage, Sk Monoar Nahid embodies what it means to be a creative visionary. His influence is not confined to one country, one screen, or one generation. It is a legacy in motion—crafted pixel by pixel, frame by frame, and idea by idea.
