This guide provides detailed information on how Armenian and Azerbaijani passport holders can obtain a visa to visit Cambodia, including options for online e-visas, visa on arrival, CAMBODIA VISA FOR ARMENIAN CITIZENS and embassy applications.

Visa Requirements for Armenian Citizens

Armenian passport holders require a visa to enter Cambodia for tourism or business purposes. Fortunately, Cambodia offers a convenient e-visa and visa on arrival options for Armenian nationals, CAMBODIA VISA FOR AZERBAIJANI CITIZENS both of which are easy to obtain with minimal documentation.

1. Cambodia E-Visa for Armenian Citizens

The e-visa is the most recommended and straightforward method for Armenian citizens. It can be applied for online through the official Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs e-visa portal.

Requirements:

  • A valid Armenian passport (minimum 6 months validity from the date of entry).

  • A digital passport photo.

  • A credit or debit card for the visa fee payment.

  • A valid email address to receive the e-visa confirmation.

  2. Fill out the online application form.

  3. Upload the required documents.

  4. Pay the visa fee (typically around $36 USD, including processing fees).

  5. Receive the e-visa by email (usually within 3 business days).

  6. Print out the e-visa and present it upon arrival in Cambodia.

The e-visa allows entry through major international airports and certain land border crossings and is valid for 30 days from the date of entry.

2. Visa on Arrival

Armenian citizens are also eligible to obtain a visa on arrival at major airports like Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville.

  • A passport-sized photo.

  • Completed visa application form (available at arrival counters).

  • Visa fee in cash (approximately $30 USD for a tourist visa).

  • Valid passport with at least 6 months validity.

The visa on arrival is also valid for 30 days and can be extended once for an additional 30 days.

Visa Requirements for Azerbaijani Citizens

Like Armenian nationals, Azerbaijani citizens also need a visa to visit Cambodia and can choose between the e-visa or visa on arrival options.

1. Cambodia E-Visa for Azerbaijani Citizens

The Cambodian e-visa is equally accessible for Azerbaijani travelers and is ideal for those who prefer to avoid long queues at the airport.

Requirements:

  • Valid Azerbaijani passport (with at least 6 months of validity).

  • Recent passport-style photo.

  • A functioning email address.

  • Credit/debit card for online payment.

  2. Complete the online application and upload the required documents.

  3. Pay the visa fee online.

  4. Receive the e-visa via email.

  5. Print the visa and present it at an approved port of entry.

Just like Armenian citizens, Azerbaijani passport holders receive a 30-day single-entry visa, with the option to extend it for another 30 days.

2. Visa on Arrival

For those who prefer to get their visa upon landing in Cambodia, the visa on arrival option is equally convenient.

Requirements:

  • One recent passport photo.

  • Completed application form (available at the airport).

  • Visa fee (approximately $30 USD, payable in cash).

  • Passport with at least 6 months validity.

Both the e-visa and visa on arrival grant the same duration of stay and can be extended at the immigration office in Phnom Penh for a fee.

Tips for Armenian and Azerbaijani Travelers

  • Extension: If you wish to stay longer than 30 days, you can apply for a visa extension at the Department of Immigration in Phnom Penh. Extensions cost approximately $45-$60 USD.

  • Overstay Penalty: Overstaying your visa results in a daily fine of around $10 USD, so be sure to exit or extend your visa on time.

  • Entry Points: If using an e-visa, make sure to enter Cambodia through designated entry points (e.g., Phnom Penh or Siem Reap airports).

  • Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended to have travel insurance covering health and emergencies during your stay in Cambodia.

  • COVID-19 Regulations: As of the latest updates, Cambodia has lifted most COVID-19 restrictions, but travelers should still check for the latest entry requirements or health advisories before their trip.

Whether you’re a citizen of Armenia or Azerbaijan, visiting Cambodia is now more convenient than ever. With accessible visa options like the e-visa and visa on arrival, travelers can focus on enjoying their trip rather than worrying about complicated paperwork.
